Neighborhood Liaisons
The Neighborhood Liaisons make up the core focus of the Mayor’s Office of Community Affairs. Organized by City Council Districts, liaisons work with community and neighborhood associations, non-profits and resident led groups.
Attending community association meetings and neighborhood events, the liaisons serve as the primary bridge between community and Mayor Scott. Their role is to share information about the administration’s policies and projects and solicit community feedback on those policies and neighborhood concerns to ensure that city government is responsive to residents.
The liaisons coordinate mayoral visits to community meetings and events. They also plan and execute activities that foster relationships between Mayor Scott and Baltimoreans. Monthly Community Engagement Walks provide opportunities for residents to highlight neighborhood concerns to Mayor Scott and his cabinet.
