Older Adults Outreach Team
The Older Adults Outreach Team connects older Baltimoreans with the Mayor and city agencies that provide services and programs for older adults. They collaborate with the Baltimore City Health Department, Department of Housing and Community Development and Baltimore City Recreation & Parks on initiatives, resources and events.
The team develops strategies that provide opportunities for the Mayor to engage with older adults. Events and programs include visiting senior centers and senior apartment complexes and events such as Mayor Scott’s Spring and Fall Senior Walks in the Park.
The coordinator works closely with specific older adult community groups and organizations throughout the city to provide resource information and solutions to issues and concerns. They also work with individual residents, visitors, and businesses to inform and be informed about our City.
